Lovingly converted from a 15th century building, preserved as a historic monument: the Palazzo Medici dal Borgo. The Hotel Aprile Palazzo dal Borgo is a charming boutique hotel. It is located in the heart of Florence, within sight of the church of Santa Maria Novella. Historic frescoes, high vaulted ceilings and a secluded quiet courtyard garden, where you can relax amongst lemon trees and Tuscan pottery, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Hotel is located in the center of the city: Santa Maria Novella train station, airport shuttle bus terminal, Convention centers, museums and all main points of interest are within easy walking distance. The hotel can be reached by car and parking is available in nearby garages.

How to reach us. By train: arriving at S. Maria novella central railway station you can easily reach the hotel on foot; exit from the station on the right side, into via S. Caterina da siena and at the Trafic-Light turn to left into via della scala: you will find us down the street after 200 metres on the left hand side of the street. If wished taxis are always available even for the short distance. By car (coming from the north): exit the autostrada del sole (a1 motorway) at Florence Nort, then follow directions for the city, you will arrive at Piazzale di porta al prato, follow directions for the central railway station "s. Maria novella"; when you have the station on your left side, turn right into via S. Caterina da siena, at the end of the street at the traffic light turn left into "via della scala". You will find us after 200 meters on the left hand side of the street. By car (coming from the south):exit the autostrada del sole (a1 motorway) at Florence certosa, then follow directions for the center, you will arrive at piazzale di porta al prato, follow directions for central railway station s. Maria novella; when you have the station on your left side, turn right, into via S. Caterina da siena, at the end of the street at the traffic light turn left into via della scala. You will find us after 200 meters on the left hand side of the street. By car from Pisa airport Galileo Galilei: by car: highway Fi-Pi-Li (SGC) to Florence. Follow the directions for “florence Centre-Railway station”, enter via Jacopo da diacceto. At the first traffic light turn right (into via Orti Oricellari) and then at traffic light left.
