Hotel La Colonna - Siena

Less than 1 km from the centre of Siena and close to the motorway, our small, cosy hotel is completely air-conditioned and has an outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace. After careful work, in 2004 this ancient building was turned into a hotel. Run and managed by our family, our professionalism and kindness contribute to a friendly atmosphere which we hope you will enjoy. With private parking spaces and a garage at the hotel, you can leave your car here and make use of the public transport stops nearby. From the hotel you can reach the city in very little time, giving you all day to explore its many cultural attractions. However, by staying slightly further out of town, you can also see something of the Siena way of life that many visitors do not get the chance to see.

The hotel is located near the superstrada, offering easy access to Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, Montalcino and Pienza.

By Car: From North Italy: - Take the A1. - Exit at Firenze Certosa. - Join the Superstrada to Siena. - Exit at Siena Ovest. From South: - Take the A1. - Exit at Valdichiana. - Follow signs to Siena. - Exit at Siena Ovest The hotel is just 200 metres from the Siena Ovest exit. By Train: From the railway station take tram number 3 towards Colonna San Marco.
