The hotel Basilea is located in a charming location in the quiet and typical district of S.Croce. The hotel is facing the famous Rio Marin, better known as "canal of the gondola serenades". The hotel has 30 rooms furnished in 18th century Venetian style, all with private facilities and the listed equippment. In just 15 minutes on foot you can reach the Rialto bridge and the S. Marco square.

By Plane: -Go to Marco Polo and reach Basilea directly from the airport, in less than 30 minutes. -By water-taxi or by car-taxi or ATVO Blue Shuttle bus that will go straight to Piazzale Roma Terminal in Venice.Bus departures approximately every 30 minutes. -Walking from Piazzale Roma along the Grand Canal as far as the Scalzi bridge over the Grand Canal, but do not cross it. -Take a right, opposite the large bridge and at the end of the street turn left. -There you will find the canal Rio Marin where the hotel is located. By Train: - Go down the steps of the train station Santa Lucia, turn left , cross the Scalzi bridge , over the Gran Canal, go straight ahead and turn left at the end of the short alley. - There is the canal Rio Marin and the Hotel Basilea.

The hotel has no restaurants but the hotel can give guests several suggestions of good places close to the hotel.
