GENERAL INFORMATION
Discover the beauty of Venice, while staying in a family environment. Hosted in an 18th century building, Hotel Antico Panada boasts a tradition that dates back to 1889.
With a cosy and refined ambiance and a devoted, discreet staff, Hotel Antico Panada offers tranquillity and elegance in the midst of the liveliness of Saint Mark’s district.
The Antico Panada has always been a reference point for Italian and foreign tourists who enjoy its intimate and welcoming interiors, decorated with white and red marble. Appreciate a peaceful retreat in the very core of the city, with convenient access to all points of interest.
Enjoy a typical Spritz aperitif, a good cup of espresso or one of many international cocktails at Bar Ai Speci, an old Venetian retreat open until midnight. The Bar features walls panelled with dark wood and authentic period mirrors, tastefully selected and placed. This collection, and the name of the bar itself, recall the ancient art of the Specieri, mirror craftsmen who had heir shops along the hotel's street for centuries.
The Panada offers a truly Venetian stay in its comfortable and peaceful rooms, with 18th century furniture and Murano lamps, and also in the continental breakfast that includes several Venetian pastry specialities.
AREA INFORMATION
Hotel Panada overlooks Calle degli Specchieri, a street that leads directly, without crossing any bridges, to Basilica of San Marco and to one of the most beautiful piazzas in the world, Piazza San Marco. There you will experience the majestic Bell Tower, the Ducal Palace and the Clock Tower.
In addition to being a stone's throw from the artistic and historic sites of what was once called "the most serene republic", this elegant Venetian hotel is set close to the city's most exclusive boutiques and most celebrated stores and restaurants.
It takes Hotel Antico Panada's guests just a few minutes to reach landmarks such as Rialto Bridge, with its characteristic fish market, and Grand Theatre La Fenice, which has returned to its position as one of the most important theatres on the international music scene.
